On the heels of the global <\/span>#MeToo<\/span><\/a> movement, women have been calling out <\/span>creeps<\/span><\/a> on Twitter, the news, and even at the bus stop. If there was ever a moment for women to speak up, give collective cry, a call to action, it is now. The siren call for action has been most definitely given. <\/span>\n\nArr\u00e9 SIREN is that call you can\u2019t ignore, an oestrogen-fuelled ode to the burgeoning local arts scene and the women who are building it up, one shattered stereotype at a time. The two-day music and comedy festival features the first-ever fully female lineup of acts. It will have all kinds of blasphemous things being said, <\/span>unladylike<\/span><\/a> jokes being cracked and songs of cheer being sung out loud.<\/span>\n\nPresented by <\/span>Arr\u00e9 Earworm<\/span><\/a> and curated by Sufi songstress Zila Khan, the musical acts can be counted on to bring the noise. There are concerts in every genre from Jazz to Electronica, Indian Fusion and Hip Hop. Highlights include Raja Kumari, the Grammy-nominated rapper from LA, bass guitar virtuoso Mohini Dey, and electronic sensation Saba Azad.\u00a0<\/span>\n\n

Intended as a training ground for the next generation of #<\/span>UssTypeKiLadki<\/span><\/a>, SIREN Campus allows fans to enjoy facetime with their personal heroines.
