From Katrina Kaif to Shilpa Shetty, celebrities have been taking to TikTok and Instagram to show off their #HomeFitness routines. The novel coronavirus Covid-19 may have gotten all the gyms put on a temporary lockdown, but for fitness enthusiasts, the grind never stops!
Following the coronavirus outbreak, health officials have advised people to self-quarantine and practice social distancing in order to contain the growing pandemic. By the end of last week, with cases rising around the nation, various state governments had indefinitely shut down or limited access to public spaces like schools, cinema halls, and airports among others.
The novel coronavirus Covid-19 may have gotten all the nations (and their gyms) on a temporary lockdown, but for fitness enthusiasts, the grind never stops!
On March 16, Katrina Kaif, known for being a disciplined fitness devotee, took to her personal Instagram to share a 7-part #WorkoutFromHome video.

Seen alongside the most sought-after Bollywood fitness trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala, who also established the first Pilates studio in Mumbai, Kaif emphasises on the importance of keeping your body fit, even if it’s a 20-25-minute workout. “You don’t have to stress your body,” the actress explains, “But even a little bit of workout is good for your immunity.”
Dressed in Reebok, the fitness duo then break down the routine, which consists of 6 exercises, each comprising 3 sets and a number of reps. From reverse lunges to mountain climbers, Kat seems to have got us covered this quarantine season.
Not too far behind, is former Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline Fernandez. Known to ace her fitness game, be it sweating it at the gym or going from rookie pole dancer to pro, the actress has always given us #FitnessGoals.
“Stretch 💖 keep that spine healthy and happy! Yoga poses are my fav, anytime, anywhere!,” read the caption of her first video, while the follow-up video asked users to “put on some good relaxing music 💖💖💖 and breathe!!!”
