The latest picture of Sanjay Dutt to surface on the internet has been a shocking reminder for all that the fight against cancer is a strenuous one, even for a Bollywood superstar.

Dutt, who has reportedly been diagnosed with lung cancer, was recently photographed after a hospital visit. With a rapid loss of weight, the 61-year-old is barely recognisable.

Currently, on a break from film projects to focus on his health, last seen in Sadak 2, the drastic change in the actor’s appearance has raised much concern amongst his fans.

Visibly weak and pale, fans soon started sending “Baba” wishes for a speedy recovery and good health.

“Get well early & come back soon,” a fan wrote.

“You are one man army,” another tweeted.

Said to be receiving chemotherapy, Sanjay Dutt along with wife Maanyata had flown to Dubai to spend some quality time with his kids and family. On August 11, the actor had announced that he is taking a break from work because of his health issues. After his announcement, Dutt has been spotted visiting Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai a few times, where he is said to be receiving treatment for his condition. On August 18, as he left for the hospital, he told the paparazzi outside his home to “pray” for him.

Maanyata has been actively posting pictures of her husband along with positive captions in these challenging times and being supportive of her husband.

“Today…I want to thank God for the gift of family. No complaints…No requests… just to be together, forever. Amen,” she captioned a family picture on Instagram.

Get well soon, Sanju Baba!
